Fish photography is almost as fun as having them in the first place. I don't have a great camera but every now and then I get a nice shot...here are some of my favs.

Thanks freeride7
It's still a young tank and money is tight right now so I don't have many corals...don't have the best lighting yet either...saving up for it.

I think your tank looks awesome! You have a small fortune in rocks in there dont ya!! I cant believe how much ROCKS cost! LOL. Yours look really nice.
It is gonna look really amazing once coral takes off on all that!
Ive kinda got the same thing goin on in my tank! Saving for the corals I want, and hoping the ones I have really take off in there!
Those Blue mushrooms you have are beautiful.... do ya know are those "rare electric" blues?
I seen a rock with 7-9 what they called "electric blue shrooms" polyps go on ---- for 115 Plus 45$ shipping
:scared: I wanted it...but I only bid it to 75$ I dont think 115 was too bad for the rock..I just didnt want to pay that shipping charge..whew!

Thanks for the nice comments
I don't think the mushrooms are 'rare electric blues'...I sure didn't pay the price you mentioned...that would be $200 Canadian....and I paid about $50 if I recall correct.
As for the rock, I lucked out bigtime! I purchased some for $12 a pound...and some for $8 but the lucky thing is about 90% of it was purchased from one of the girls at my LFS who was moving and had over 250 pounds and sold it for $600. (all can$)

Flipper beautiful tank. I love your firefish, I have one in my 12 gallon nano but whenever I go up to tank he usually goes and hides in liverock. Is yours people shy to?

Thank you for the nice compliment.
No my firefish are not shy..I have 2 of them and they are always out front. Most of my fish are out front all the time...except when I get the camera out.

How do you guys manage to do the closeups w/out having a blurry picture? Does the fact that the tank is made of acrylic rather than glass make it more blurry?

I don't know if acrylic makes it harder to get closeups. The fact is I probably take 50 shots just to get one shot that is in good focus worth posting here. Like I said...just some shots I got lucky with.

I think I'm going to buy a tripod, it helps a lot. As far as taking 50 and keeping one, I'd have to agree.
I'm too lazy to read the manual and find out the tricks to the camera :D

Boy can I relate to that...I just took about 30 shots a few minutes ago...trying to get a good shot of "lil blue" my hippo.. but she is extremely stealthy and camera shy..
