A good man's razor

So we have all seen the commercial with Tigers Woods, Federor, and some soccer player advertising the Schick Quartro. Its the 4 bladed razor that also has a AA battery in it to make it move like an electric even though it is a razor.
Well I received a coupon for one of these razors for free and I must say it is a great shave. Nice and smooth even on a 5 day bearrd, which for me is a 2 day growth for any other man.
I will say the precision single razor on the backside isn't that precise, but I do my sideburns with an electric anyway.
Just thought I would share,
Chris

I think it is ridiculous.. I use it but the replacements razors are 35 bucks.. I mean wtf. I grow a beard fast. If you have seen a pic of me with bob fenner in some posts I will tell you thats a week and a half beard and its 2 plus inches long... I go thru razors like a calf to milk...

I hadn't seen the price of replacement blades yet, I guess that is why they were giving away the original razor.

Gillette is still better I think. I've tried both. And my 5 days of growth requires sheep clippers then a razor.

Fats is right... they rope you by giving you the first one free... then you go back to get refill blades and they hit you with $30 for 5 of em...
i agree stdreb... Gillette is "the best a man can get"... i still use the Sensor Excel... dont know what i would do if they discontinued it!!!

I told my hubby to go back to using single blade disposables for one month, then UPGRADE to the double blades and they will seem awesome again.
He uses those triple blades and I admit, nce you use them they are addicting and anything less feels rough. But we need to get back to basics!! Pretty soon were all gonna be hooked on 7 blade razors.

Been using the Gilette Mach 4 for years now. Its got 4 blades on 1 side and the single blade on the back. I'm one of the lucky ones that only has to shave every 2-3 days though. Then again, I'm also pretty lazy so I probably should shave everyday...

Fats, what are you on?
Tiger, Federor, are advertising the Fusion power.

I've had the Fusion Power since it came out over a year ago(actually talked to Wal-Mart as to when they'd get it in). Great razor, replacements are mundo expensive though. The power vibration is a bit gimmicky to me, so I don't use it. I shave about 2 twice a week. Don't like shaving when there's just little stubbles because I just shave in the shower and don't use any shaving cream, just the water from the showerhead.

have it....could care less for the electric part...but when the blades are fresh out of the pack it cuts great...but otherwise i think i like mach 4 better, and its cheaper for sure....stupid razors...just need to get good at using the old fashion barbor style blades and go buy a pack of razor blades, haha
I'd like to find a good electric razor though that gets close instead of all these things that feel like they are pulling my hair out and cutting me up even if they have good blades, lol
oops, maybe its the mach 3?

Hey guys did you know that your blades are not getting dull, they are being broken down buy the water being left on them. If you dry your disposable razor after you use it, it will last you month's. I got one to last for over three months.

EXACTLY!!! I have wondered where this is going to stop? I mean I can see in ten years there being a razor with 27 blades. I laughed when I saw they have a battery powered razor.

I had a Mach 3 that I bought just because that is what they sold at Costco. Now in trying to get something cheaper I went back to the dual blade disposable razors. I got 52 for about $20.
