i'm going to drill my tank (125gal). just need to make sure this will work. i'm going with 2 X 700 gph overflow kits from glassholes (one in each corner). they come w/ 1.5" bulkheads- so my plumbing will be 1.5" pvc, right? the return pump will be a mag 18 (1350 gph @ 4"). its got a 3/4" output on it, so the plumbing will be 3/4" and i'll get a 3/4" loc line return kit going to a center return. on the inside of the tank i'll add a 3/4" to 1/2" loc line wye reducer to send the flow in 2 seperate directions. does that sound right for the sump/fuge plumbing?
now, for the CLS... looking for pump recommendations. also, do i use the same sized pvc as the output on the pump? i would like to stick with the 3/4" loc lines since that's the largest that glassholes carries. i would like to split the return from the CLS pump w/ a SCWD to 2 bulkheads, and then the wye loc line reducers again. so there will be 3 bulkheads total for water return, but i'll be able to send the water in 6 directions and with the SCWD i'll have alternating flow. hope this made sense and i appreciate your responses.

Yes, 1 1/2" bulkheads will need 1 1/2" pipe.
I get about 900 on the MAG 18 with 3/4" pipe for the return.
As for the loc line inside the tank, sounds good to me.
How much money do you want to spend on the pump?
If you want to use 3/4" every where then the 3/4" SCWD will limit you to a max of 700GPH. Not sure how big you wanted to go?
HTH.
