well i need to know some thing that are messing with my head what is the difference in a wet dry trickle filter a sump and a fuge i got a 125 and i really want to get ride of the back pack filters what is the best way to go thanks for anything i get back

A sump is just something that holds water.
A trickle filter is basically a wet/dry system, they call it trickle because the water trickles through the bio balls.
A refugium is usually within the sump that may or may not have a wet/dry trickle filter in it. The refugium is usually made up of live sand, chaeto and some live rock.
