well i need to know some thing that are messing with my head what is the difference in a wet dry trickle filter a sump and a fuge i got a 125 and i really want to get ride of the back pack filters what is the best way to go thanks for anything i get back

Here is the basics:
Wet dry
Usually has the bio-balls as source of filtration
Sump
An extra tank plumbed into your system to add water volume, and to place equipment into
Refugium
This could take the place of a wet/dry. USually contains LR, Macro algee, and a DSB
