OK...75 g tank is up and running. 100lbs LR temp 78 ph 8.3 1.028. I have been told by "specialist" that I should wait a month before adding fish or coral. Others say...gopher it now.Any advice?

are those 'others' LFS employees? personally - i feel a fish doesnt belong in a tank that hasnt been up for 2 months. tests may be fine but we need to be confident that they will stay fine -
JMO! :)

Whomever has told you to wait...is the person who is not primarily interested in money.
Patience is critical in this hobby.
Cycle the tank, challenge it with some dead raw shrimp...or even feed the tank as if you have fish...if you the water quality stays good, you can be confident.
I would lower your specific gravity to 1.025-1.026. What are your other parameters?
In the end, you can probably consider adding some hard fish or inverts before then based on water quality, but that advice, overall, is spot on.
Don't rush.

Looks good. the important thing is it stays good. I completely agree with ophiura. Bring the salinity (specific gravity) down and challenge it with some ammonia (as said it the above post) producing dead shrimp.
