I'm doing regular water changes (10% a week) and I still have a problem with Nitrate levels, so I'm just trying to see what the general population is doing to control nitrates, other than regular water changes
I switched to a dsb over 7 months ago and I still have nitrates of around 40 which is down from around 80. I can't figure out why, I have lots of bugs, worms, nassarius snails, ceriths snails and conchs to eat up stuff, and my protein skimmer pull out a cup or so a week.
