A new old tank

hello,
it has been a verylong time since i have posted maybe is it because i went cazy and got fed up with my 30 gallon getting a nice cought ing of green,purple,red slim all over every thing.

. BUt any way i know thats you must have time for these tings such as a saltwater tank. So these is were i come back to all the action. I will need all help possible for / all opinions possible for this topic.
#1.what to stock?
#2.what kind of tank fo,aggressive,flowr.etc ?
#3.what eles to buy?
#4. any one know of a good relible place that sets up tank in NJ ?
the reason to #4 is that i think i messed my tank up from the start when i did every thing so i want to get it done by some one who know what they r doing. the things i have left from my brake down r | 30 g tank glass.two 600 power heads. filstar 2 filter. compact floresent light.(i will have to check on the bulbs).heater |
so any thing to add to my bag of goddies i would love to know.:thinking: please let me know if you have any questions if so please post.

It looks like you have pretty much everything except a protein skimmer. I would suggest a red sea prism protein skimmer, and you need some test kits for salt water tanks. #1 and #2 really depends on your preference. Decide what you want as far as FO, FOWLR or aggressive first and we can help you with what to stock. As for setting up your tank, I think you can do it yourself, just ask alot of questions here and do everything right from the start and you'll be alright.

ok thank you i am deciding to go with a fowlr. As for protin skimmer r there any betters ones out there? and one thing i forgot to ask in my last post does the tank postion matter? i mean like next to a window or any thing like that. ?
