A peek at my new 36 Bow

Well, I sold my 125 and downgraded to a sweet little 36g bowfront. after moving over some of my rock, and all of my livestock I had my temperature probe fall out of the tank. Yikes!!!!:scared: the tank went up to 88 degrees before I noticed what had happened! so this little mishap cost me all of my lps and a lot of other livestock, including my fish, snails, cleanup, etc.
however the good news is that what you see now (1/4 of what I had) made it through that temperature spike, and a very hard cycle. with the exception of the linkia who was added today, and more will be added tomorrow. I am finally starting to get excited about this new setup, and I am seeing growth already. through the cycle and all.
The lighting is at about 12 wpg, with 300 of that being DE Hqi -20k the filtration consists of a HEAVILY MODIFIED skilter 400. and a closed loop on a scwd powered by a iwaki wmd30rxlt for water movement.
Here is the best picture I got so far. its not much, but a good start to something wicked I think. tomorrow the good stuff goes in!

Tank looks really good.....I'm surprised all that died at 88 degrees. It's high, but not catastrophic.

it actually could have been higher. the sticker on the side of the tank only goes to 88*. the tank felt very warm to the touch though, and things just fell apart instantly. it's sad seeing a frogspawn that went from 2 heads to 12 just melt away in minutes.

yeah. that would suck... not to throw salt in your wound or anything, but how would you say that it took your frog spawn to go from 2 to 12?? and under what lighting?? just curious.. I am up to 3 from 2.. lol.. still got a ways to go to catch up...

It took about 2 years. but the major split had just finished. 2 went to three, then each one of the 3 split into 4. so I had 3 clumps of four, It was beautiful
. the lighting was 2X175w 10k Halide and 2X96w actinic PC.
