Thanks! I really wish they didn't lose so much color when looking through the glass too. If only they looked as awesome through the glass as they do from above.

Yeah, the striations and veining are why I got em.

You're referring to Streetside pets, right? I got mine there. I've got quite a few pieces there. I've always had good luck with things I've gotten from Steve.
We'll have to keep in touch. Would be nice to finally find someone local to trade with.

Here is mine in my nano!! Mine actually has sweet green irrodescent coloring along the edges but you can't see unless you are directly over it.

How big was it? My cleaners leave mine alone entirely. Both my croceas are about 2.5 inches. I've learned the hard way to not get a clam less than 2 inches. My croceas have thrived easily, while the maxima that I got from here was just over 1 inch and died.

Looks awesome! I would move it back some though so it's not squished against the glass. And yeah, mine some brighter blue and green highlights that look so much better from above. The mantle is viewed best from above - that's why we have to be careful when purchasing a clam online - the pic is usually from above and will look entirely different in your tank at home.
