Hey, some one gave me a plant for a saltwater tank and i dont know what it is. It is green and looks like a vine of green grapes. i dunno how else to describe it, thats exactly what it looks like, a vine of tiny grapes and he said it was a plant, so does anyone know what this might be so i can find out some more on it

Probably some type of caulerpa.
Check out 'Caulerpa racemosa' and see if it's close to what you have.

tonypesce, sorry meant to get to this thread earlier.
Here's what my tank looked like when it started and was growing:

Looks pretty good doesn't it?
This is what it looked like just last week after the stuff went s.e.x.u.a.l;

My advice, don't put this stuff in your DT.
