i did too - 10 yrs ago in my apt when we 1st got married , in a 55g - i worked fine -
but now, after doing research on a 150g i am planning - i am being told it won't work - - i also want in that tank , a french angel and a snowflake eel -
- and then , maybe, 1 or 2 of the following - maroon clown or h. turk , or kole tang or a banana wrasse

With just the two fish there may be problems, but if you add some ditherfish to distract the porcupine I dont see why it wont work and Ive had those 2 fish together for 3 years. Peaceful triggers, tangs, squirrelfish, large damsels like domino or jewel, etc all work well.

It really is a hit and miss situation, if you would like the two together in your 150, I say go for it. Just watch for any fin nipping, never get to comfortable and keep a close eye on the mix, though it may not happen right away, or in 6 months. I watch my puffer and lion mixes and always look at the fin tips. LOL
Good luck,
Kaye
