Hi,
All the dwarf angelfish (I think pygmy is just another name) are iffy...most are reef safe but some sadly, are not. So you have to try and see. I had kept Lemonpeel angelfish in my 90g reef, I lost one after some years and purchased another.... and they never bothered a thing.
I did have a Hippo Tang, labeled 100% a reef safe fish, that ate my xenia down to nubs.

the only reef safe angels are in the Genicanthus family,,, though they are bigger then dwarfs, they arent as large as the other angels...
Okay...fancy word I don't know...is that what a pygmy angelfish is? If so I have learned something new...LOL, and I wanted to be sure.
Centropyge argi are generally considered reef safe, though you may want to moniter them they arent gauranteed to work. they are however one of the only angels that you can keep several of without them killing each other off.
I did keep a small swarm of them in on of my reertfs years ago and none of them toutched anything (six in a reef)
