A question about clowns...

Hi again. In the same tank with the now sick Purple Tang, I also have a pair of clowns that stay pretty much on the anemone. The question is, will they ever leave it to feed? The Tang eats pellets when they are sprinkled in, but the clownfish seem to stay by the anemone. Do you have to drop the food right on them, or do they sneak out when I'm not looking? Thanks again, great board you have here, sure I'll be pestering you all for months to come!

If they are hungry, they will venture forth to grab some food. My Maroon clowns pretty much stick by their anemone also. Try feeding some frozen brine or mysis shrimp. It won't sink as fast as pellets.
