I still have my 2 Green spotted puffs.
They almost never come out anymore, but today I caught them in camera view.
They have been in this tank from low brackish, (1.010) until now, full reef..
I have them now for about 2 years.

They are one of the kinds of fish that can. They have them at one of my LFS and even the guy that works there says they can be acclimated pretty easily if you do it slowly.

are there any other fish in there with them? I had a pair in a brackish tank and they were aggressive, took the eye of my channel cat!

i really like the concept of having that little puffer in a reef. Are they reef safe?.... Also do they eat polyps...etc? ...you mentioned there mean...are they going to be aggressive with inverts and other fish?....or are they more mellow in saltwater.

Thanks guys, for all your replies.
I have not seen them do anything to the 2 pajamas, 1 algea blenny, 1 watchman gobie, 1 large brittlestar, or grren mandarin. in a 45g tank.
They seem to know they are in a tank where they dont exactly " Fit in " and avoid contact with the corals that have long tentacles.
They maybe sneaking a hermit crab down for lunch here and there, Although I have never seen it, but i havent noticed a crab or snail population drop or any adverse affect of having them in my reef tank..
Lotsa inverts, dusters and stuff .. I would not put any shrimp in with them though.
And if you know green spotted puffers... These guys are very happy and healthy.
( White bellies, light green patches on there heads and blue/green eyecolor.)
