a toby and a ???? in a 60g hex

hi , I just got a new saddle puffer last week and he's loving my tank....but I have a few questions ~I feed him 3 live shrimp every 2 days [ he's 2" long now] is that enough? also I'd like to get a dwarf lion or fu manchu, compatible?? what about a leaf fish?? thanks in advance

The feeding should be small meals 3x a day. the lion would not be good as the puffer will nip fins and especially more longer and flowing fins like lions. the leaf fish would be good but most can expel a toxic slime so if the puffer upsets it ----it could release it and kill them all

I don't think the toby will be an issue with the lion. I would go with a fuzzy or a zebra. Skip the fu, unless you find one that is already eating well. They are finicky and will decide not to eat even once eating.
Keep the puffer fed. He will eat frozen foods. It is important to offer a variety of foods. They need something to grind their teeth on also. Provide shelled foods. Offering a cracked open mussel or clam from the grocery store is a good idea.

I have kept a toby and a fuzzy together with no issues before . They seamed to make a good combo for a small aggressive tank .
