A worthwhile distilled water unit???

I found this on the net. It's a DI unit, doesn't say a thing about RO. Would that still be ok for my water changes? I can't afford an RO unit right now and this one is affordable if worthwhile? Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

Would be better than adding tap water but..of course.. still not as good as RO/DI

Would I be able to add the water without all those additives to make water safe?
