? About Damsels

I've had 2 (3) stripe damsels in my 40 gallon f/o tank for about 2 months now. The only problem is that they aren't really that active not mention total scardy cats. The spent so much time in the coral and very rarely come out except for feedings or to chase each other. And when they do they dart around the tank in seconds. I just recently found a large numbers of critters (these milky white/transparent things that resemble fleas) crawling along the sides of the tank. They are also swimming through the water too. So far the damsels aren't showing signs of stress (or that I know of cuz they spend so much time in the coral) but I want to know if this behavior is normal and if I need to worry about these little buggy things in the tank. Thanx in advance!

When I had humbugs they were sort of the same way, liked to hide most of the time. Kinda boring.
WRT the white bugs... sounds like you have copepods. That's a good thing!

3 striped damsels are cowards and hide in coral heads in the wild. Don't expect too much courageous acts out of them!
I agree with Dugan it sounds like all you have are copepods. The reason this does not stress your damsels is because your damsels are pry eating them! When was the last time you run away from a hot dog :D ? Copepods swimming in your tank shows you have a stable environment. Keep it up!

These copepod thingies where the heck did they come from? They appeared in my dads tank to and he hasn't had fish in there for over 4 months! And you can only see them when the water is calm and they're beginning to mulitply! Help!
