hello i wanna replace my fluvalu 303 for my 55gal tank with a ecosystem hangon wet/dry with skimmer installed with it. is that a good package for a newbie to this hobbie? they are selling it for about 350.00-400.00. and another question is should i keep my fluval running along with the wet/dry? or should i just take it out completely? is it also true that you can't wash the biomaxx chips that i have in my filter casue it will wash all the bactieria off of them if so then how do i clean them? or do i just replace the foam pads and wash the chemi pure?
