I was just wondering if High pressure sodium lights would work as well as MH.The reason I ask is becouse HPS are suppose to be a pretty good mimic of natural sunlight and very powerful. They are used alot in growing plants.Does anyone have any thoughts on this?I was wondering if they would work over a reef tank?Soft and hard corals!
thanks , Don

High Pressure Sodium are wrong Kelvin spectrum. Coral would be able to use some of the light, but the algea would go apesnot with such low K value.
