About to drill a walmart tank need feedback

im about to drill a walmart 55 galon tank i have ick and i think this is a good chance to drill
im going to take out the fishes and put them in my 10 gallon=2 clowns 1 firefish and a scisortail
im going to put my live rock in a 32 galon tub and my 2 corals in my brothers tank
i have a brand new rigid dimond bit 1"
and what do u think on drilling the walmart tank? fast response please!!!!!! im going to do this tonight

If it's for the 30gal in your profile, I say drill it if it breaks go out and buy a new one 30gals are cheap.

As long as it is not tempered glass. Most 55 gals these day are from what I understand. There is a test you can do. A glass shop told me you can test them with a cheap pair of polorized glasses take the lenses out and stick the lenses together on each side of the glass. Then do the same on the window to your house or another piece of glass that is not tempered you will see a big color difference if it is tempered. If it is tempered you can not drill it for it will break. Go very slow take your time. Good lock
