I have a frag of acans and I'm not sure if they are splitting (I didn't think that they split
) or are dying, or what?!
I'm not too experienced w/ this coral as I couldn't find a lot of info on it.
any info would be of much needed help

Its base just broke off and it is hanging. Eventually it will release it and then you will have a frag. You can frag it if you know how. However, I would be more worried about the what looks to be aptasia you have next to it. If it is, KILL IT!!!!

Also, I picked it up to move is, and it is broken in several places.. will they eventually split too?
If it does just fall, it will fall in an unreachable place..
can you point me into a direction on how to frag it?
[like I said, I found very little on this coral
]

Cutter = scissors?
I have scissors and razors I just bought last week from 2 doctors site..
Also.. it gives off strings when I move it/do water changes, is this normal? ,my other acans don't..

yes, scissors or a clean razor would work well. That acan has basically done all the work for you, all that's left is a simple clean snip/slice through the tissue that it's hanging by and that's it. Simple as that. Acans are very tough corals.
