acclimating a nudibranch

i bough a colored nudibranch and was wondering if there are any special acclimating procedures besides the temperature part

plum, it depends on the species of nudibranch, some eat algea, and some even eat other seaslugs:eek: , and still others eat colonial tunicates

Yes thanks I know Exactly what they eat having serveral a few months back, I just want to see if he knows as most people do not, the only reason I had success is that I have 300 lbs of LR, with a lots of sponges, and I have had them wiped out by these guys,they look beautiful , but long term is real hard, good luck

the guy at the lfs said this kind will eat algae and as long as the water conditions are good then it will be fine. but you never know with lfs. does anybody have experience with this type

What type is it, or what does it look like? I know that hobbiests have little sucess with most types of nudibranch except for, possiby, the lettuce nudibranch.

just go slow....i picked up a lettuce nudi from our last sw order and he is doing very well! and putting a dent in the algae as well!
