acclimating anemones

I read an old post that said SWF.com ships their anemones without water. I just ordered one , should come next week. How do you acclimate it if you have no water to start with?

I dont think that is right, if you take an anemone out of water for to long it will die. They can survive out of water for awhile but prolonged would be detrimental for them. I drip acclimate all my anemones and usually it takes about 2 to 3 hrs.

It didnt make scense to me either but i did a search and someone contacted SWF and they said they just ship them in pure oxegen.

They ship the anemones with "little" water, in the plastic bag. Not without any water.
They don't get banged around during shipping as much this way.
Acclimate them per the instructions - and follow it closely.
SWF.com has a great guarantee on their livestock - but you must acclimate properly.
