acclimating inverts...

do you acclimate inverts the same way as you acclimate your fish?

I personally do acclimate inverts the same as i do my fish. I float the bag in the tank unopened for about fifteen minutes, then i open the bag, add water from my tank so that it doubles the volume of water in teh bag, and then let it float for another fifteen minutes. This way works great and i havent lost anything yet (knock on wood) Of course if you have larger specimens it is a good idea to let them acclimate for a longer period of time, just use your best judgement!
