what type of t5s? what brand? and how many bulbs compared to how many PCs?
this will determine how long
the easiest method is to just leave them on for a few hours a day and slowly raise the time every few days. or you can just leave the actinics on and limit the time of the daylights.
or it is a pendant, you can raise it high off the water and slowly lower them.

the T-5's are the ones with the whole big reflector, not individual reflectors....dont know what you call them. They have 6 bulbs (324 watts total) and the PCs have 4 bulbs (265 watts total)

without individual reflectors you probably dont need to do a lot of aclimation
definatly follow what your corals tell you though. lol
