aclimation in QT?
is it also a bad idea to dump the water from a new ariving fish in the QT right before i perform HYPO? I know its not a good idea for the main tank
but what about the QT, would it matter since treatment will be performed?
There would be a very slime chance that a parasite, like ich, was just in the water and had not infected the fish yet. Thus, the LFS water may be contaminated, while the fish still is free of the parasite.
