say if the infected fish is in main tank at 1.023, and QT is at 1.009, if you net the fish from main display how long of an acclimation time should there be before letting it loose into the 1.009 treatment tank?
The QT needs to be the same salinity as the display tank. Then, once the fish is acclimated to the QT, at normal salinity, you slowly start bringing the salinity down over the course of 48 hrs. The procedure is detailed in the FAQ Thread.
