aclimating brackish puffer for my reef tank

i have a brackish puffer. i've seen them sold at my LFS as salt puffers. right now the SG in the tank it's in is 1.008 to 1.010. can i safely, slowly aclimate this puffer into my reef tank SG of 1.026? also, are these little puffers reef safe? thanks!

I think puffers are cute but they will kill and eat your snails etc...Atleast thats what i gather.
What was the salinity of the water he came from?

definately not a good decision if you are concerned about keeping your reef a reef.
