acrilic or glass tanks

i'm new to saltwater aquariums and im planning to get a 55 gallon tank. my friend( who had a lot of expierience ) said i should get a glass tank since its easier to clean. glass tanks are pretty expensive and they weigh tons more than acrilic tanks. what tank should I get:yes: :yes:

I would go with glass.
The only time i will go acryic if i decide to move up to a 150g or larger.
For weight reduction and no worries about it leaking down the road.
My friend had his glass 150g leak.
But i think it was from moving it.
And by me acrylic is alot more money.

acrylic is better because
weighs less, easy to move than glass
Crystal clear, glass has that green tint
Better Thermal insulating quality, keeps temp. more stable, glass has almost none
Almost unbrakeable. you can hit it with a bat and probaly want brake.try that w/ glass
The only draw back to acrylic is that it scratches very easy so you have to be very carefull and now they even have scratch resistant acrylic.
