Acro polyps ejecting? RTN?

ok wierd question.. unfortunatetly i dont have pics:
this is my first acro, ive had it about a month. today my sandbed got stirrup a little as i was removing a dead fish, within an hour i noticed 3 or 4 polyps were ejecting white mucusy stuff. My first reaction was RTN becuase it looked like what i had seen and read about; but after a few hours it stopped(thus the no pictures). Is this bad? is this common? is there anything special i should do?

its normal. anytime i change water, my acros would release this white slimmy coating. its just a way of them protecting themselves.

ok cool, i knew my leathers would do that but i wasnt sure if the acros were supposed to or not. ty for the info.
