Acropora ID

I picked this large Acro up last week at a LFS and it was listed just as a an acropora I was wondering if anyone could give me the specific species

Can't tell for sure, but looks like some type of staghorn to me. Nice piece

x2, some kind of staghorn. most staghorns r very hard to name bc they r so similar.

That's a pretty big piece of (+1 on staghorn based on VERY limited experience). How much did you pick that up for, out of curiosity?

They had this one for $70, most I have spent for a piece of coral but it was so big that I couldn't pass it up.

it is a very big piece. staghorns can grow very fast.
