Acropora under PC lighting

You can have acro's under VHO lighting.I have acro's in a 125 under VHO & I have acro's in a 240 under M/H they grow great in both tanks.

i have 260w`s of PC lighting on a 55, i`m wanting (thinking) to get a MH light of 150w and 14000k to put one just one end of my tank for some SPS, here is the light

Steve, the only problem with a single light over your tank would be that the sides would look dark. The spread isn't far enough with just one bulb to reach all parts of the tank. Two halides would be much better.

How muchis that fixture (above) sorry I cant buy from u sanchez, but im hoping to set up a smalkl 10 gal refuge this winter break, that I can house a collection of corals in, as well as a MANTIS (TIM U ARE MY IDOL) Yeah, so thta would work perfectly for the refuge. So my refuge total comes to-roughly 200 $ the light is most expensive.
