acropora

Was wondering what some of you think about haveing a couple of peices of acropora with PC lighting. I currently have 2 55w PC White Bulbs @ 6400K and 2 36w PC Actinic-Blue bulbs @ 6400K. The tank is 55gal, water parameters are in great condition, and the only corals in there are a colt, a couple of mushrooms, and some star polyps.

That's probably not gonna be enough light to have the acro grow or keep the color if it survives even if it is placed near the top of your tank.

I agree, I have acropora growing well under 330 watts in a 55. 110 is not enough.
