acrylic cement ?

I have made an intank overflow box for my external protein skimmer. I used Tap plastics ACRYLIC CEMENT to weld the box. The thought occured to me that since it is a cyanoacrilate product that it may be toxic to my tank. I called the store and they said to leave it out of the tank for 3 WEEKS! Any thoughts as to whether this is really necessary.

For any type of acrylic work I do I always use Weldon Acrylic solvent. I never have to wait that long....

Weldon for me to. No problems and can place it in right away once its cured.
