Acrylic Sump

I was thinking of building my own custom acrylic sump to fit my
stand. thinking like 1/8" thick or 1/4 thick. I can get acrylic
preatty cheap so I thought that Id try building my own sump.
anyone thats tryed this or knows alot about building a sump id
