acrylic vs glass

The bigger the better...
Well, in all seriousness, it's a personal choice. The glass tank will weigh more, but at that size it shouldn't be impossible for you to move around.
What is the difference in cost?
Are you afraid of the surface getting scratched?
Afraid of the inside getting scoured by live rock, sand trapped in glass magnet cleaner, etc?
Is the tank "pre" drilled? Acrylic can be drilled later, glass is "iffy".

the acrylic is 1300 and the glass is 1000 both predrilled the glas is an oceanic with all the filtration you need and the acrylic is tenecor with all the filtration you need but the acrylic is a flat back hexagon it also has a cool blue background to cover up the filtration

Yipes... I'm not an expert, but those prices seem high to me. I bought a 180 glass, with 2 drilled overflows and stand for $1100; and that was from a LFS that isn't notorious for good prices...

the acrylic has about 100 pounds of artificial rock and the glass has about 50 pounds of lr with fish, a small dog face a 1 foot panther grouper and a naso tang

is the glass 72" by 18"? If so I'd go with the glass. Those are better dimensions than the 60" by 18" acrylic. More options as far as fish goes.

for the HUGE tanks acrylic is better because with glass it has to be more thick than acrylic....this can change viewing...it's a personal choice. I'm going with glass so I don't scratch it

With a 72" by 18" tank, you could arguably put a small stingray like a yellow or a small shark like a coral catshark. Even without those fish, you could put more fish in a 72" tank such as larger tangs and angels.
