Actinics lighting my house

Wow,
Just completed setting up a 105 show with 4x110 uri actinics and 2x250 10000K MH. I'm just running the actinics through the cycle and it makes my kitchen and living room blue in the evening. The tank is in the dining area. Anyone else have that problem? The neighbors probably think I'm growing some weed or something in the place. I just moved there too! kind of funny.

Thats pretty common, mine lights up the whole front of the house and the neibors said it looks like Aliens in the Living Room. I just finished with my DIY 4 110watt VHO. I turned it on....WoW...it looks like the mothership just landed in my living room. One thing might help, I dont have a background cover on the back of the aquarium. The light shines on the wall behind aquarium and I think it makes things worse. Also, if you are using 100% actinics, you might want to try the 50/50 bulbs.

Mine does the same thing. I put a backing on my tank and it definitely helped with the reflection off of the wall, but there is definitely a bluish cast the emits from my windows at night !
