i was actually looking all over the web to find anything about carbon filter in the reef tank, but found nothing. Do i actually need one in the reef tank? (i have no RO or DI filter).
Periodically I run carbon in my tank for a few days. It does lower your trace elements a little so you want to make sure you do not run carbon all the time.
