percula clowns, any clown really but do not get a anemone with that cowfish. Also,a bicolor blenny, not pretty, but amusing.A common firefish goby would be at home too.

If you got a big old tomato clown, you could trust him to defend an anemone from a fat cowfish. Unfortunately, tomato clowns are mean, and very territorial. Your other fish would not like a tomato in the tank LOL.
I think a coral beauty would be a much better bet. They don't stop swimming and are AWESOME. And they cost only 22 bucks. You need to feed them plenty of green foods.
You could also consider a percula clown, a very social fish.
Warning: Cowfish are extremely toxic when they die. Your other fish will get poisoned when the moo moo passes on. I think you should rope the cow and put it in a separate tank or back to the LFS.

I have to agree with Sammy and warn you about cowfish. I know I guy who lost $2,500 worth of fish overnight because his new EEl spooked it really bad. My point is you dont want to active of fish with a cowfish~!

I thought cows were only poisonous when they died or got bitten by other fish. Now I will NEVER have a cow unless it's alone in a tank. MOO!
P.S. A tomato clown would scare your cow BAD. Don't get one.

My vote is for an Angel if your tank is large enough to accomodate one, otherwise a pygmy angel would do great too.

A porqepine puffer and triggerfish would make short work of anything living in your reef tank. I have both alone in a tank and they eat just about anything including fish up to half the size of them.

Don't put a puffer or trigger IN A REEF!!! You could go with a couple of Banggai (hi-fin) cardinals. They're quiet. Also a jawfish or scooter blenny.
