Added 2nd fuge to setup opinions?

Well I dont know how well this will work or if it is a stupid but I turned the center chamber of my sump into another fuge for just macro. I used one of the clamp on lights with a LOA sunlight bulb that is 30w 6500k. I dont know if this will work but I took some of my Calurpa out of my main fuge to place in here just to see what it does. If you think this is stupid or something I can do beter (other than cheato got some on the way) please let me know.

I don't see anything wrong with it except the skimmer may grow algae on it... or in it due to the light. I'd run it for a few weeks and see what happens!!

well that skimmer is a piece of junk because I have had it up and going since 01/20/06 and it has never had any foam in the cup or even in the tube inside of the cup. I am thinking about getting a remora or urchin to replace it.

What skimmer is that? Looks similar to a SeaClone. I had the SeaClone 100 and it was a piece of junk. I replaced it with the AquaC Remora Pro and I love it. I wish I would have gone with the AquaC Remora Urchin series, but I didn't have my sump at the time.

It's a Catalina Aquarium piece of junk It is alot like a coralife. Only it dont work
