Adding a six/four line to a reef with another wrasse already present

As it states, I have a 90 reef, with was sold to me as a blue side fairy wrasse probably about 4in long, (pic below, if its not a blue side, please ID), and wanted to add a four or sixline, think I would have any problems if I bought a small one?
Also, any differences in the four or sixlines other than coloration? I had heard the four's have a little better temperament, is that right?

From what I've read the six line wrasse is peacefull, but can be aggresive towards other wrasses. I did have a six line but he was the only one in the tank. Since you are adding him later perhaps it won't be a problem, but I'm not certain. See what the experts have to say.

It won't be a problem if you add him in after the other wrasse. If it was the first wrasse then they get aggressive and territorial. Plus your tank is pretty big so it shouldn't be a problem

Not always true. The only way to say for sure is try it. My money would be that the sixline won't leave him alone until he is dead.

had the same sort of problem with our tangs/butterfly fish. what we did is take both out of the tank, put em in a 5 gal bucket and rearranged the rockwork. have been fine ever since.... try it, it should work

I am no wrasse expert but I would not add a 6 or a 4 line with a fairy wrasse. I have a flasher and I just went through this thought process and decided it was not worth the risk. It was suggested to me that I should only add another peaceful fairy wrasse.
Just my $.02
EDIT: I have no idea on the ID but it is a beauty! I suggest you sent it to me and I will have my second peaceful wrasse and you can get your 4 or 6 line.

I added a yellow wrasse to a tank with a six line (small tank too). The 6 line will bully the yellow a bit. He'll chase it around for awhile. Damn, those are some fast fish. In retrospect I probably should not have done it but it hasn't been too bad.

I have the same fish and was told it was a C. solarensis (solar fairy) or C. cyanopleura (ruby head fairy).

Doesn't look like the solar fairy. Don't know about the ruby head fairy. I have no pic of a ruby. To the OP, I just looked through pics of 80 wrasses and I didn't see yours
Some wrasses change coloration from juvenile to adult.
