I currently have 1 maroon clown in my 72 gallon tank he/she lives comfortably in a LTA. She is about 2 1/2 inches long and is kinda bossy, now is it possible to add another Maroon to have a pair? Im thinking no, because most places that they are for sale there is only one in the tank. I know they are aggressive towards other clowns escpecially after they have been in the tank for a while. THey are my favorite fish was just kinda hoping to have a pair but prabably not likely if anyone has any info feel free to give me a halla.

Yes you can add another, but it won't be easy as she will pick on him pretty good for a while. There was a good thread a while back that outlined how to do it using a small breeder cage to help the new male survive. Personally, I don't have experience doingthis.

what also may help in acclimating a new maroon is to re-arrange.
breaking up what he has set as his territory will allow them both to "set up camp fresh"
