Adding Calcium/ Kalkwasser

i want to start adding calcium or kalkwasser to my tank to maintain a good calcium level. i am reading that most kalkwasser affects alkalinity making the alk drop to a low... what can i do... to add calcium that wont affect pH/alkalinity?

i wouldnt add anying unless calcium is low. If its steady now, dont does anything

How big is your tank? do you even test your calcium? is it low? I would not add calcium to your tank unless it is low or you have a huge bio-load of corals that deplete your calcium. If you also keep up on regular water changes like once a week you should never have to add calcium. just my .02

should be geting the calcium test kit soon. but just wanted the info for when i came around to it..

yeah when I was a non-rate I was at a small boat station in michigan, it was fun but for sure alot of BS.
Just starting out in the saltwater adventure? This board is full of alot of good advice. just ask and you will get numerous responses for basically anything you need.
