Adding extra rock

I have an existing tank that has been up and running for over 2 years. I have just been given a lot of rock and dried corrals. I don't have alot of rock in my tank now but was worried about adding any of this rock incase it started a cycle. I have dried the rocks etc. though there was no visible sign of anything on the rock. Is this advisable to add?? :notsure:

IMO, I would to try to cure them in a seperate container then add them one at a time at least a week apart.

if the rock is fully dried and does not smell than it is just base rock right now. to be safe you can add a piece or two at a time but i think the rock should be fine to add.
