Adding Fish again

My 2 fish died after an Ick breakout. My question is when is the best time to introduce fish into the tank after a breakout. Is it 2 weeks or sonner? What kind of fish? We had a clown and a tang before.

I believe the complete life cycle of ick is in excess of 20 days. I would wait 30 days to be on the safe side.

dan is right, 23 days forcycle, before I added more fish I would wait like dan said for thirty days and also I would clean your substrate with a syphn a couple of gallons each week that way you might get any that has fallen to your substrate, we use the kind with the big end about 2inches across and about a 1/4 inat the bottom, this will help,,,,cya
