Adding fish

Question, Since my Display is currently in HYPO can I add new fish and aclimate them to the display since the tank is already in HYPO?

I guess I would wonder about the salinity of the water that comes with the new fish. Pretty stressful acclimation if you want to move the fish from .025 ish to a hypo environment of .009 ish.
Did I understand that right?

Generally don't you gradually over a few days lower the salinity to put a tank/fish in hypo? If thats the case, I wouldn't risk anything but an acclimation period of the same lenght... so possible? probally... pain in the butt... definately.
Someone mentioned before that salinity acclimation doesn't take very long though... no idea on how true that is.
