Adding live Rock

If I am adding 45-50 lbs of lr (that I am getting from swf.com) to my 125 that already has 70-75 lbs lr in it already do I need to cure the rock before I put it into the tank? I am having problems with high nitrates and am doing 30 gal of water changes a week so figure I could just put the rock in while I was making the water changes.
I have 1 maroon clown, 1 damsel, 1 coral banded shrimp, 2 brittle stars, and various clean up crew.
I have an Americal wet/dry filter, 3 powerheads, 2 basic skimmers I run in the sump.

i would cure it ibefore adding it to the tank, to eliminate any die off and spikes in the tank, i also would add it slowly
as for the nitrates, what skimmers are you using?
and what do you mean by a nitrate problem? how high are they?
