My tank has been up and running for about 8 months. I have 80 lbs of live sand and 60 lbs of live rock .I have a 75 gallon reef ready tank. My question is if I add one new piece of live rock every month will this make my tank cycle again?
although a nice piece of uncured rock would probably be tasty to your clean up crew, i wouldn't take the risk of putting an uncured piece in. i do though take rock from the lfs and put it in without recuring it as long as it doesn't smell bad.
