If I am to add 80 lbs of playsand to my 100 g fowlr tank, how much live sand should I add on top of it in order to aid the maturation process? I am only forming a 2 inch sand bed and I already have fish in the tank. Any help would be appreciated
I'd recommend just one bag of LS. If you spread it evenly it should effectively seed your playsand. Also if you add too much LS, it could cause a cycle from initial die-off.
